About Dr. Figueroa
Born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, I came to New York when my parents emigrated to the mainland looking for greater opportunities. I grew up in the Bronx where I received my basic education.
I attended Harvard University where I obtained an undergraduate degree in Biology. The University of Illinois at Chicago is where I attended medical school and the State University of New York at Buffalo is where my three year residency in Family Medicine was completed.
Florida became my home state in the summer of 1992. I have been in solo practice since then and continue to enjoy caring and providing for my patients. "Caring is my profession" is my mantra. Although every day brings new challenges and experiences, my training and years of clinical experience make it possible for me to offer you reliable care and expert advice.
When I'm relaxing I like to read, fresh water fish and enjoy the outdoors.
